All the probes and measurement connections were calibrated beforehand, and the
calibration results were noted in order to correct the values that were measured.
Experimental Results
Summer analysis was carried out during the month of August 2010. We focused the
analysis on a week (8-13/08/2010), which was characterized by very high external air
temperature (up to 40°), total solar radiation on horizontal plane up to 900 W/m
2
and
absence of rainfall. It was a typical summer week for the analysed context.
Fig. 6 shows temperatures obtained from the external surface of the analysed roofs with
respect to the external air temperature and the total radiation on a bright summer day
which was particularly hot in the period considered (12/08/2010).
