3. Air quality
Natural paint:
For interior and exterior walls of the buildings, the main
component will be raw soil enabling the use of local natural resources, to save
materials and fuel, to guarantee health to the people with the use of simple and
traditional technology.
Eco-Paint Colaza Clarus Paint
- To paint the walls and ceilings. It is a
biodegradable, aqueous, high power of coating, high durability, quick drying, without
Volatile Organic Compound (VOC). Therefore does not have the unpleasant odors of
conventional paints and ensures good air quality.
4. Sewage Treatment
The project’s design specification aimed to use the equipment provided by
the Brazilian company Mizumo, which offers a wastewater treatment service with
capacity of a daily flow of 4.0 m3 (4000 liters / day) per module 20.00litros / day serving
up to 210 users. The area required for its implementation varies from 23.0 m² to 38m ².
The process of treatment comprises anaerobic reactor, an aerobic filter with
air diffusion and sedimentation of fine bubbles and with secondary air lift system for
returning the sludge. The disinfection system is done by means of chlorine tablets,
already integrated into the product (Fig. 24). This system can be both above the
ground as underground.
