Plan. The ideal location of the prototypes is also suggested. With a parameter of low
density (10 housing/hectare), sets the maximum number of housing developed in each
rustic block. But the proposal should be homogenized because, as a consequence of the
consolidation of the communications, residential units of very low density are obtained in
the vicinity of the city, while in the center of the selected area very high values are
obtained for developing a single prototype. This is the reason why the proposal is
homogenised as shown in Figure 5.
5.- The prototype program.
As already mentioned before, the first feature intended for the prototype is to develop in
height and a single volume compact to the extent possible. Therefore the program of this
prototype will be hybrid consisting not only homes but also for other purposes which, in
the same way as housing, have been picked up on.
Up to 320 homes, including between 24 and 36 for “owners farmers” and, at list 260 for
the rent regime. The distribution of housing will be: in the lower floors (constituting a
possible basement) housing type farmer family, according to which the rules of the plan
allows for the category of soil we try; in the rest of plants for rent homes developed with
versatility and flexibility as a tool and from the diversity of the social demand. Embedded
in certain plants social, sports and cultural facilities favouring the relationship of the
inhabitants of the prototype
According to the technical building code, the orientation of the facades is determined by
the angle that is the normal of the facade with the geographic North. Taking into account
this approach is stablished basic parameters such as the number of hours of sunshine,
the daily average radiation thrown shadows, etc. Because of this, the tower is situated in
a position that, for calculation purposes, is considered the main façade to the Southeast,
avoiding that none of the facades of to the North, the worst orientation in the climatic
zone of Granada.
