Figure 8.- Sunlight of the prototype
The Tower moves to the Northwest to ensure that any objection during the day or during
the year shed its shadow over any other parts built. Figure 8 shows the sunlight
corresponding to noon on December 15, i.e. the most unfavourable shadow.
Around the common area is placed vertical
communications with a special protection ladder
and 5 lifts, it develops the prototype, with 24
houses of the type "owner farmer" leaving 296 for
the rent regime. These homes have been
distributed in 6 packs of 6 floors each one and 8
homes by media in the Tower plant.
"Cells" of the ring floor allows to develop housing of 30 m

, combine two of them
resulting housing of 60 m

and even group 3 resulting housing of 90 m

. With the
undisputed geometric condition, this strategy allows you to treat the prototype as a
system in which the same housing if not intended to have special uniqueness, but rather
speak of "tactical reference diagrams" (M. Gausa in Housing). In the words of this author
housing appearing at all times as a frozen moment, within a process if it were
.
The ring system allows you to generate 1
plant mother
with 8 apartments per floor. In the
case of all the floors of the Tower (36) to include 8 accommodations the building would
contain a maximum of 288 lodgings for rent; However we start from the premise that this
prototype 24 houses would be agricultural property type, leaving 284 homes for rent. By
grouping homes, will develop the possibilities of the plant type to generate different
plants.
•
Compensating the proportions between single and double and including a
certain percentage of triple.
•
Adjusting the total number to 260 minima.
The treatment of the facade as a double filter that retrieves the width of the transition
between interior and exterior would maintain the internal geometric rigidity and a softer
and less aggressive within the landscape geometry (breathable regulator) outer skin.
5.- About the typology of housing.
Architects who gave his personality to modernism of the early 20th century, made him
from a field of experimentation clear and emblematic: social housing.
At that time, a confluence of circumstances encouraged the construction of housing for a
model characteristic traditional family (parents, children) collecting, compacting,
stacking, compressing functions... to get a maximum of features addressing the less
physical space required (possible).
At that time changed minimum requirements to housing, at that time not mattered too
much, in principle maximum had site; at that time all embraced and accepted that model
of social city becoming the minimum STANDARD. At that time.... perhaps, looking back,
we see models which at the time had the sense and were also bright by their suitability;
however today, no longer have reason to be in a society undergoing so many changes
that they have been already not so valid physical and social realities.
Since it established, architects can say that they have dedicated themselves to flirt, flirt
with that minimum STANDARD giving you the best technology, the best construction
