The comparison between the wind turbines of different capacities shows an increase in
the annual gain with increase in capacity of the turbine. But due to the increasing size of
the wind turbines with its capacity along with the price and payback period reduces the
preference of these turbines (Fig. 24).

Role of planning procedures and policies
It is important to get enough support from the government and the council through
attractive planning procedures and policies. Planning applications must demonstrate the
