of them have not considered a wind turbine due to lack of evidence on the effectiveness
of it, while the rest 42% did not consider as there are other products which are more
attractive and readily available in the market. 65% increase in the annual deployed
capacity from small wind systems between December, 2009 and December, 2010 shows
the increasing market for small wind systems. Educating the people on the effectiveness
of wind turbines and using products like Power predictor which can show the output of
the wind turbine if installed will help people in realizing the impact a wind turbine could
have on the annual power consumption form the grid (Figs.10 & 11).

Acceptance of wind turbine by the community becomes important especially during the
council application procedures. From the survey conducted 52% are ready to accept a
wind turbine in their community as shown in the chart 8. Out of the total people that
found a wind turbine unattractive 64% are not ready to accept a wind turbine in their
community as shown in chart 9, showing that appearance is one of the major factor for
its acceptance. By enhancing the wind turbine designs and with better integration of it
