On the south part of the house, there is a semi-closed terrace which takes the sun in
winter period while it is opened. In summer period the terrace is mostly closed to block
the sun (Fig 9). On the north part of the house, there is a courtyard which was designed
to take control of climate of living room and bedrooms (Fig 10). The courtyard takes the
wind in winter period and supplies natural ventilation for the bedroom and the living
space which are on the eastern and western parts of the house respectively. The cross
ventilation is obtained by the door of the kitchen which takes place in the northern part of
the house.
