The Paulínia Botanic Garden mission is to promote vegetal diversity
conservation aiming environment sustainable use, regional flora research
development, the sensitizing of the plants importance to men through environmental
education programs and leisure to visitors.
The institution is associated to the Brazilian Botanic Garden’s Group (Rede
Brasileira de Jardim Botânicos) since 1996. The Garden is located in the municipality
of Paulínia, in the middle-east region of São Paulo’s State which geographic
coordinates are 22º45’47” S e 47º09’07” W, 620m altitude and 21.6° C average
