Analyzing the sustainability’s indicators of cities with the Metabolic Model, it is possible
to define politics and programs to improve these indices.
Methodology
For use of the model, had been used data referring to the Entrances of inputs, to the
Dynamics of Settlements, the Habitability and the Exit of Inputs supplied for the
Municipal City Hall of Balneário Camború, state and federal agencies.
The data had been presented in distinct dates, therefore had to little age that the city
presents and the difficulty to find them was great.

The city of Balneario Camboriu, has an area of 47 km2 and a population of 108,089
inhabitants, data provided by the Census of IBGE 2010 (IBGE, 2011).
