Moreover, the advanced water treatment system by the water treatment tank and two
Bio-Geo-Filters
were also designed. This project aimed at the suggestion for the
sustainable society with an environmentally-sound material cycle in
Hoi-an
.
In this research, first, the design concepts of
Hoi-an Cafe
were explained. And next, the
heat insulation capacity of the external surfaces was verified using the thermography.
And, the power consumption in
Hoi-an Cafe
from August 5
th
to January 31th was
measured.
Finally, the purification performance of the wastewater was measured by
Pack-Test
—
i.e. (K.Okauchi 2007:41-46).
Pack-Test
is simple method for the water quality test. Using
Pack-Test

Nitrate nitrogen
,
ammonium nitrogen
,
phosphate phosphorus
,
total nitrogen
(inorganic)
and
chemical oxygen
demand (COD)
in the water treatment tank and the
Bio-
geo-filters
were measured.
