. The existing effluent
processing in Hoi-an consists of only sedimentation tank.
On the other hand, in

, the water treatment system consists of two sedimentation tanks, two contact
aeration tanks and
a settling tank—e.g. (Fig.7). This handcrafted water treatment tank
was made by local materials and local craftsmen. Moreover, the purified water from the
water treatment tank flows into
Bio-geo-filters
. The
Bio-geo-filters
consist of a serpentine
channel —e.g. (Picture
on the upper left corner of
Fig.6).
The Bio-geo-filters
remove
Phosphorus etc
. from the water. Finally, the water flows into the river in front of
Hoi-an
Cafe
