Conclusion
In this research, first, the environmental design concepts of
Hoi-an Cafe
were explained.
Next, the heat insulation capacity of the external surfaces was verified using the
thermography. And the power consumption in
Hoi-an Cafe
from August 5
th
, 2011 to
January 31
th
, 2011 was measured.
1) Inside surface temperature was lower than the room temperature for all the day due to
the effect of the double skin brick wall, the five-ply unglazed tile’s roof, the ponds and the
movable louver double sliding doors.
2) In the future, thermal performance of the external surfaces is planning to be verified
in
more detail using the simulation considered absorption and desorption of moisture.
3) The purification performance of the waste water was measured using
Pack-Test.
As
the results of
Pack-Test
, it seems that the wastewater is purified very well.
4) Daily power consumption was mainly within a range of 15[kWh/day] to 20[kWh/day].
The power consumption of the blower accounts for about 37% of the total power.
Therefore, the power consumption of the blower must be reduced.
