The device was installed in NRGSyle’s existing house which is located next to the
expected ZEMCH 109 construction plot. The house is occupied by a family of four
members (two adult and two children). The energy and resource usage has been
monitored since 6
th
August, 2011. For purpose of this study, the data from the month of
September has been collated and analysed (Fig6). During the period of 7 months, the
maximum amount of electricity use was observed in January 2012 (675.16 kWh) while
the least was in September 2011 (553.918 kWh). However, there were marginal
differences in the consumption from October 2011 to March 2012.

The monthly cost (based on unit prices provided by EWGECO) has increased from
September 2011 (56.94 GBP) to October 2011 (67.07 GBP) and had been fluctuated
until March 2012 (65.69 GBP) (Fig.7).
