The weekends show the relatively high amount of electricity use as opposed to the
weekdays. The monitoring results correspond with general energy usage patterns
associated with the tendency that working people tend to stay at home and carry out
their household chores over the weekends while they go for work during weekdays so
that the domestic energy consumption tends to be less than one over working days.

Furthermore, during the weekends, high electricity consumption was often recorded in
the late afternoon. Also, the results show that the house tends to be underused quite
often over the weekday afternoons.
