Moreover, in order to identify PV/T heat generation capacity, 4kWp crystalline silicon PV,
whose efficiency is either 7% or 14%, was considered, assumed to be placed similarly
on the 30
o
angled south-facing roof of the house in question. The depth of the PV/T roof
air cavity was fixed to be 0.03m and therefore, the area of the aperture of the inlet fresh
air is 0.24m
2
. The simulation was conducted using EESLISM where the room
temperature was assumed to be 21˚C for 24 hours of housing operation under Scottish
summer and winter conditions (Fig.11 and Table 2).
