On the other hand, the pre-foaming method that manufactures the foam first to mix onto
the slurry is easy to adjust the foam volume to make easy field blowing to form the
relatively consistently quality for its advantage that it would work more easily for the
thermal characteristics.
This study is the review of experiment for the influence on the insulation characteristics
of the foam concrete in the pre-foaming method for such factors by setting the
experiment variables of foam volume, foam agent types and dilution concentration
expected to have the influence on various engineering characteristics of foam concrete.
2. Experiment Plan and Method
2.1 Experiment plan
Table 1 : Design of experiment
Table 1 shows the experiment
plan that the foam discharged
by diluting 4 types of foam agent
(AES, AOS, VS, FP) for the
density of 1, 3, and 5% that the
discharged foam is mixed and
produced for 30, 50, and 70%
compared to the slurry capacity
to measure the flow and slurry
density when yet to be solidified, and the oven-dry density compressive strength and
thermal conductivity in hardened condition. Table 2 is the experiment combination with
the water/binder ratio of 40% and the CaO/SiO

ratio of 1.0.

2.2 Experience method
Fig. 1 uses the pre-foaming method to
formulate the method to manufacture the
light-weight foam concrete. The foam
manufacturing is manufactured through
the blower after the injection of the foam
agent dilution aqueous solution with the
air protrusion method.
