CASE 3
The third case is very different than the other cases. Here the modes available is bus
and rail together making it a hectic journey with more time consuming. In this case the
car journey is more economical and less stressful as it takes much less time. This is
explained in the graph at the end. Following are details of the present situation and the
available mode of transports in that area and the cost variance between them. It is very
interesting to see the change in cost and the time of travel in the private car user and the
public rail or bus user.

As it is seen by the priority level marked by the user that here the case is just totally
opposite to other car user cases. Here the user is forced to use the car due to the lack of
availability of other transport modes. As it is seen that the person is environmentally
committed but due to lack of options has to drive a car. There is a VALUE MISMATCH
between the used mode and the options available (Fig.5).

The next case is where the user prefers walking and sometimes uses bus. Following are
details of the present situation and the available mode of transports in that area and the
cost variance between them.
