A monthly mismatch analysis between export and import of electricity from and to the
grid over a year has been finally carried out in order to estimate how much renewable
energy produced by the building is actually exported to the grid (fig. 6).
Fig.6 Monthly mismatch analysis.
Conclusion.
Results (fig.7) show that the emission of the +hytte project can be contained within the
following values:
O/Eq. – emission due to the use of the technical equipment= 3 Kg/m
2
y
O – operation emission of the building= 4,4 Kg/m
2
y
In addition to these values if we consider, as hypothesis, that material and construction
emissions can be contained within the values of:
O+M - embodied in the used material = 5 Kg/m
2
y
C+O - construction and demolition of the building = 1 Kg/m
2
y
Thus the surplus of energy produced by the integrated PV system results sufficient to
reach ZEB targets (including also material and construction emissions. Fig.7).
Hypotheses assumed at the basis of this study will have however to be verified in the
next stage of development of the building where materiality and components will be
further detailed in collaboration with contractor and industry partners.
